  • Brandon Harrison recently served as a mock appellate judge during a moot-court scrimmage between Lyon College and Arkansas State University.

  • Paul Waddell and Scott Jackson recently spoke at a continuing medical education program entitled, "You've Been Served: Managing Litigation Stress and Surviving Depositions." The multimedia presentation advised and educated physicians on various aspects of medical malpractice litigation, focusing primarily on preparing for and participating in depositions.

  • Brandon Harrison has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Arkansas Supreme Court's Civil Practice Committee.

  • Barry Deacon, Managing Principal of Barrett & Deacon, P.A., was recently appointed by Per Curium Order of the Arkansas Supreme Court to the Committee on Professional Conduct. Mr. Deacon will serve a six year term.

  • Bobby Gibson recently spoke at a seminar titled "Real Estate Law: Advanced Issues and Answers" in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mr. Gibson addressed bankruptcy related issues, including the impact of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005.
